Concept note-1: -The Panama Canal connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean through the narrow Isthmus of Panama. It also divides North America and South America.
Concept note-2: -One hundred years ago, the vessel Ancon made history when it sailed from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific without rounding the southern tip of South America. Instead, it passed through the Panama Canal, one of the greatest engineering achievements of all time.
