Concept note-1: -The general socialism definition, broadly speaking, socialism is a political and economic system in which the means of production and property have public ownership and are not controlled by the government.

Concept note-2: -Socialism is a political philosophy and movement encompassing a range of economic and social systems, which are characterised by social ownership of the means of production, as opposed to private ownership.

Concept note-3: -Socialism is, broadly speaking, a political and economic system in which property and the means of production are owned in common, typically controlled by the state or government. Socialism is based on the idea that common or public ownership of resources and means of production leads to a more equal society.

Concept note-4: -In the other, socialism, the state owns the means of production, and state-owned enterprises seek to maximize social good rather than profits.

Concept note-5: -The command economy, also known as a planned economy, requires that a nation’s central government own and control the means of production. Private ownership of land and capital is nonexistent or severely limited.
