Concept note-1: -On December 7, 1941, following the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, the United States declared war on Japan. Three days later, after Germany and Italy declared war on it, the United States became fully engaged in the Second World War.

Concept note-2: -Driven by growing consumer demand, as well as the continuing expansion of the military-industrial complex as the Cold War ramped up, the United States reached new heights of prosperity in the years after World War II.

Concept note-3: -Why did the U.S. enter World War II? The U.S. entered WWII because the Japanese bombed U.S. battleships and airplanes at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The U.S. declared war on the Axis powers on December 7, 1941.
