Detailed explanation-2: -Loose connective tissue works to hold organs in place and is made up of extracellular matrix and collagenous, elastic and reticular fibers. Dense connective tissue is what makes up tendons and ligaments and consist of a higher density of collagen fibers.

Detailed explanation-3: -The papillary layer is made of loose, areolar connective tissue, which means the collagen and elastin fibers of this layer form a loose mesh. This superficial layer of the dermis projects into the stratum basale of the epidermis to form finger-like dermal papillae (see Figure 1).
