This scientist named the nucleus.
A
Brown
B
Baur
C
Galileo
D
Virchow
Explanation:

Detailed explanation-1: –In 1831, Robert Brown discovered the cell nucleus.-He is mainly remembered for his descriptions of the cell nuclei and the continuous motion in the solution of minute particles called Brownian motion.

Detailed explanation-2: -The nucleus of the cell was discovered by Robert Brown. It was first described by Franz Bauer in 1804 and in more detail in 1831 by Scottish botanist Robert Brown in a talk at the Linnean Society of London.

Detailed explanation-3: -In 1831, while investigating the fertilization mechanisms of plants in the Orchidaceae and Asclepiadaceae families, he noted the existence of a structure within the cells of orchids, as well as many other plants, that he termed the “nucleus” of the cell.

Detailed explanation-4: -He recognised and described the existence of the cell nucleus and stomata (breathing pores that act as gateways, in order to exchange gases with the atmosphere). The Linnean Society are the caretakers of Brown’s microscope, as restored by Prof Brian J Ford, on which his theory of Brownian motion was discovered.

Detailed explanation-5: -He was studying the process of fertilisation in orchids under the microscope and while studying this he observed an opaque area which he called as the nucleus. This is how he discovered nucleus.
